Hi, my name is Enrico Bertini and I am the person behind FILWD.
I am an academic researcher working at Northeastern University in Boston. My area of research is data visualization and visual analytics (sort of data science with interactive interfaces).
I created FILWD to create a space where I can share my ideas with data practitioners, learners and the academic/research community. If you want to know more please read this post where I explain my goals a bit more in detail.

P.s. Curious about the acronym FILWD? Originally, it was the name of a blog I used to write in the 2010s, which was named “Fell In Love With Data“, hence, FILWD. I honestly am not in love with data anymore at all, but I am am attached to the FILWD brand, so I will keep using it without using the long / expanded version.
